Finding the Right Lesson Length
The right lesson length gives each student the time and space to enjoy music, explore new possibilities, and grow naturally at the piano.
Every student is unique. We'll find the lesson length that best fits your age, experience, and learning style—and as your playing grows, suggest a longer lesson when the time is right.
A GENTLE BEGINNING FOR PRE-K & K

EARLY BEGINNERS (FIRST GRADE AND UP)
⸱ 30-Minute Weekly Private Lesson
$249 every 4 weeks (paid in advance)
LATE BEGINNERS AND UP
⸱ 40-Minute Weekly Private Lesson
$319 every 4 weeks (paid in advance)
EXTENDED STUDY
For students who wish to explore music in greater depth.

Policies
- Payment & Fees
Registration Fee — None
Payment
Tuition is billed in 4-week cycles. Payment is due on the 4th lesson of each cycle for the next cycle.
Family Discount
A 3% tuition discount is available for families with multiple students. We're always happy to see siblings—or even parents and children—enjoy music together.
The family discount does not apply to 20-minute lessons.
Travel Fee for Home Lessons
$36–$46 per 4 weeks (paid in advance)
Fees vary by location.
In-home lessons are available in the surrounding areas of Rockville, Potomac, Bethesda, and College Park.
Travel Fees When Switching to Online Lessons

Concert Fee for Performers
$49–$53 per performer, per concert
subject to venue and facility fees
Participation is optional. The concert venue may vary each year, and facility rental fees may differ. Final concert details and fees will be confirmed closer to the event.

The Power of Weekly Lessons
Lessons take place weekly—regular attendance is the key to steady, lasting progress.
24-Hour Notice
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the lesson fee will apply.
Cold or Flu?
If you or your child has a cold, the flu, or symptoms such as coughing, a runny nose, or a fever, etc., kindly let us know before the lesson. We'll reschedule your lesson, or meet online if you're feeling well enough.
Around the Holidays
We'll adjust lesson schedules as needed to avoid multiple gaps around Thanksgiving, Winter Break, and Spring Break. We'll work with you to find an arrangement that fits your holiday plans.
Summer Lessons
Our piano lessons continue throughout most of the summer, with flexible scheduling where possible to fit your vacation plans and new experiences—so you can enjoy your summer while continuing to grow at the piano.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, all in-person lessons (both at our Rockville studio and in students' homes) will take place online at their regularly scheduled day and time, instead of being rescheduled.
